PRESS:

Church Directory is published each year, listing over 3,000 congregations and many other religious institutions . . . one sent free to each contributing church related to the Council . . . then available for $30 including postage with check payable to the Council.
Newscaster is published twice a year containing a wide variety of ecumenical information . . . sent to 2,500 clergy and key lay persons.
Councilpacket is created three times a year containing a variety of information and notices of regional religious events . . . sent to 2,500 clergy and key lay persons.

RADIO:

Newsworthy is broadcast on WWJ (950 AM) each Sunday morning at 6:20 and 7:40, featuring current religious news items of all faiths.

TELEVISION:

Interfaith Odyssey is seen on WTVS (channel 56) each Sunday morning at 7:00, designed to discuss similarities and differences between major faith groups.

CABLE:

Interfaith Odyssey (above) is created and shown on BCTV (Bloomfield Community Television), designed to discuss similarities and differences between major faith groups.
Daedal Doors is seen on CTND (catholic television network), designed for children in grades 2-3-4-5 and featuring mixed racial hosts and kids who develop a theme (sharing, love, fear, values) through various activities.

INTERNET:

MetroChristian.net is a free service of the Council where people and church groups can call in free listings of their upcoming events, and find out what is happening in the region.
Local congregations are encouraged to use the Internet as a resource for faith information, by creating a Web site as a tool for promotion and evangelism.

AWARDS:

Herald Awards are presented by the Council each spring, to honor excellence in the media field by people, agencies, and stations in our region.
