The Pretense of being Man

Job 14:10 But a man dieth, and is prostrate; yea, man expireth, and where is he?

Ezekiel 36:26,27 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and keep mine ordinances, and ye shall do them.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Ephesians 2:19 So then ye are no longer strangers and foreigners, but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God,

2 Corinthians 5:16 So that we henceforth know no one according to flesh; but if even we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we know [him thus] no longer.

2 Corinthians 5:17 So if any one [be] in Christ, [there is] a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold all things have become new:

T here are those new-borns in Jesus Christ who have yet to be given the grace to go beyond their preconceptions wrought in that former deception and enslavement to sin concerning what it might be like (even as sin denied through them such a thing was possible) to be a real, literal new creation in Jesus Christ. That it is a grace that must be given by God is made plain in the truth that their own flesh fights against them and that in their present state as a new born in Jesus Christ. The substance of their preconceptions are words spoken in the speech of sin/non-creating speech, fostered in the speech of sin (which is witchcraft and sorcery) and used by sin in their flesh to fight against the Spirit of God in them as newly begotten creatures in Christ in a direct effort to force them to worship non-creating speech and all the lies within it as if a de facto god. Plainly those words of the speech of sin are spirit and not as those new-borns in Jesus Christ had been deceived to falsely 'understand' "complex symbols", i.e. abstractions. In reality there are no abstractions, only the truth and lies. They have been born again by the Word of God and and know very well that the non-creating speech they knew was powerless to perform any such thing as new creation. Yet they have so little faith, for after their new birth, they have been set upon by liars and thieves disguised as pastors and priests who make a virtue out of speaking non-creating speech as supposed proof of their piety in a direct effort of Satan to keep them from growth in Christ.

Further, it seems to such newly born real, literal new creations in Jesus Christ, as well to all men who have not been born again that 'religion' is the equivalent of a certain etiquette or set of feelings long familiar (having been carefully taught so by sin in fallen men and the sin in the flesh of the new creation in Jesus Christ). Reality of new birth in Christ is then a transgression of that supposed etiquette, indeed an exposure that the 'emotional intelligence' of the past, not only its particulars but its existence was of sin. But to the new born in Christ, this etiquette and 'intelligence' is all they have ever known and all that sin has practiced in them. The light of Christ seems to them to be darkness at first as it destroys all they have ever known as 'truth'. In short, to their flesh in which sin resides, being born again is the ultimate emotional catastrophe. Sin then attempts in its witchcraft to deceive the new born that to go forward in Christ as a flagrant violation of the former etiquette and rules of non-creating speech/sin is true sacrilege, that sacrilege exclusively defined as a leaving behind of the old slavery to the fallen human heart and all within it, a thing which cannot be done alone but only in Christ.

John 16:2,3 They shall put you out of the synagogues; but the hour is coming that every one who kills you will think to render service to God; and these things they will do because they have not known the Father nor me.

In past times, before their own new birth, these new-borns in Christ perhaps participated in the very persecution (at least in word) of those who they now understand are their true brothers and sisters in Christ. They understand now that the very same will happen to themselves: the ultimate emotional catastrophe has happened and brought with it the unavoidable division between all, through all and some through others who are themselves not-yet born again in Christ (their own brothers and sisters in Christ). For having known nothing more than their old heart and all its supposed wisdom they now are one with the Truth. They are free.

But they are also still in the world and clothed with a corrupt tabernacle in which sin dwells. Sin through the fallen heart is particularly and acutely attacking the new born when they are the first in a family to be set free in Christ, especially when the family as a whole, or at least a parent has long pretended to already have been set free in Christ but is in truth a victim of a false gospel.

Matthew 10:34-40 Do not think that I have come to send peace upon the earth: I have not come to send peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man at variance with his father, and the daughter with her mother, and the daughter-in-law with her mother-in-law; and they of his household [shall be] a man's enemies. He who loves father or mother above me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter above me is not worthy of me. And he who does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it, and he who has lost his life for my sake shall find it. He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

God says, "..has lost his life..", not "..would like to lose…". The catastrophe as far as the world is concerned has already happened for the new born in Christ and is expressly that real, literal new birth in Jesus Christ.

Sin then makes it appear a very reasonable thing to pretend, just for a while, not to be born again in Christ, but to be a searcher for truth. Words spoken as 'searching' seem to carry little offensiveness in the emotional economy of the world because they claim no specific value and as such are not a threat to those who think themselves rich within it and those who desire to become rich by the devices other than what the searcher has spoken. To search is to speak of options and uncertainties.

But in truth, we, as real, literal new creations in Jesus Christ are either spoken through by the speech of sin or the Holy Spirit. There is no in-between and no other possibility. Self-defense is long over because to the world, we are dead men walking.

These new borns in Christ are heard to speak and say:

"I feel a strange peace." Or "There is a Presence in me I have not sensed before.", etc…

They sing hymns. They read their Bibles--sparingly. They desire little snacks of God's food set in such a way as to be finger food eaten on the fly in the rush to be rich in the worldly economy of emotion in the on-going pretense they are still of men and of this world. They may go to Church. They may not. They are citizens of countries. They bear titles placed upon them by the Emotional Economy of the fallen world and the non-regenerate Church in which formerly was to be found the entirety of their powerless vocabulary. They are variously friends to some and the perceived enemy of others, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, children and the aged. They eat and drink and are spoken through at various times by both the sin in their flesh and the Holy Spirit of God in their present occupancy of a human body.

But it is obvious to them that they are not as they were only a minute ago, even as it sin makes it seem to them its smart and intelligent to eat a food which can seem to mix the old with the new--just for now. The 'understanding' which they have is largely centered on mystery and the feelings formerly associated with the possibility of how the unknown could produce and service emotional positives for their former heart. Yet little by little, Word by Word they come to truly understand they are no longer men but new creatures in Jesus Christ. They also understand the two cannot mix.

Matthew 9:16,17 But no one puts a patch of new cloth on an old garment, for its filling up takes from the garment and a worse rent takes place. Nor do men put new wine into old skins, otherwise the skins burst and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together.

But being a man or a woman in a place within the Emotional Economy peculiar to their age or ability is all you have known--it is the only good you seem to have ever done: being yourself. Now it is apparent to you that you are not as you were a moment ago. Having formerly been deceived that to be a real, literal, and new creation in Jesus Christ must be merely a new emotional etiquette or standard or ideal model of behavior and that this supposed new etiquette or model is merely a different ordering of what was to be had within the Emotional Economy of the fallen world and the non-regenerate Church, you are at a loss as to how to proceed: how to be that which is newly born.

But it is a deception of the old creature that men have free will and therefore are in need of a model of behavior by which to live that sets them apart as an adherent to one false religion or another. That is, the truth of being born again is oneness with God through His son Jesus Christ. This oneness is a personal relationship as God performing both the willing and the working in us and through us. That is, God is really and truly in you revealing Himself to you in a way He does not do through men--the creature you used to be. Sin manipulated you by purposely laying weights on the heart that lead to an immediate imperative/craving to remove that weight. You knew nothing of this but called it 'desire'. The 'good' to you became a short time of rest in having done the deed that removed the weight. It was all you knew--to drift from one desire to another, one weight/burden to another with the long sought goal the ultimate lifting of that weight: satisfaction and rest. Thus religion to you was that device that controlled the amount of weight at any given time, a time of mystery was a time of rest, a seeming escape from the emotional feed, the tyranny of hunger.

Without mystery there was no rest.

But having heard the call of Jesus Christ and being newly born again, having come to Christ to receive rest for your soul, what now? The old 'certainties' and 'understanding' have no bearing and no status in the new creation. You can no longer hide in mystery.

And here you are, still in a human body with the sin in neighbors and friends calling the reality of the new birth in Jesus Christ a pretense of the only reality they know in their deception. And it is God who must speak through you and birth them as real, literal new creations in Jesus Christ--you have no freedom of speech. There is no place to hide. Indeed, you were not born again in truth in order to cover up the fact of your new birth but to walk openly in the world as being that new creation as a witness of the power of God.

There is no place for mixing the old economy within the new creation in Jesus Christ. The emotional stimulus response system or supposedly placing the proper emotion per the given stimulus you thought you knew is a lie. The proper reaction to the proper stimulus and sin arguing through you over what the proper reaction should be is not of Christ and has nothing to do with you. God directly says this as spirit and as life to you:

Luke 7:31-35 To whom therefore shall I liken the men of this generation, and to whom are they like? They are like children sitting in the market-place, and calling one to another and saying, We have piped to you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept. For John the baptist has come neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and ye say, He has a demon. The Son of man has come eating and drinking, and ye say, Behold an eater and wine-drinker, a friend of tax-gatherers and sinners; and wisdom has been justified of all her children.

The world, embroiled in its emotional toil, having the same imperative as you once had to get the weight off of you and knowing no other means than working wickedness to satisfy the fatigued shouts to each other as spoken through of sin attempting to manipulate/make of each man his neighbor a device for the attaining of that satisfaction and rest. Each tries to teach the other his/her own emotional rules to cut the straightest line to the sanctuary of rest for himself. All of them pull a vain plough.

But you are no longer of man or the flesh. You are new creation in Jesus Christ. While it is true the economy poses a physical threat to your house and tabernacle, (but not you as fundamental identity as new creation for you are eternal in Christ) as your mere existence proves all their effort worthless and the non-regenerate Church is constructed of and is still in the economy and so poses just as much of a physical threat to you as the rest, do not be afraid of them. They cannot harm you in any real way. All sin has is the emotional manipulation and the weight of the old creation.

Yet within the group whom you perhaps have sought out as saying they too are "Christians", 'Church', (so that a common life in Christ should be between you in the midst of still being on the earth…) the 'code of conduct' and 'model of behavior' put forth as a standard among them are such as to seem to all those who hold it merely to have attained to the highest possible peak of the emotional wisdom, not of God, but of this world. To those who are not born again in Christ, from all they have heard 'about' it, if 'a' new birth into anything were to happen to them (still deceived in their 'emotional wisdom'), they should be in ecstasy with shouting, dancing and deeper 'wisdom' on how to be wealthy in the emotional economy they have always known. Indeed, they read in the Holy Scriptures that one should approach God in exultation and shouts of joy. Thinking then to equate this joy and exultation to be identical to their own conceptions of it, (as they are deceived that the speech of sin is the equivalent of the Word of God in everything and in particular prayer and in such speech of sin they pray with repetition..), that is, that God's heart, the very heart from out of which comes true exultation and joy, is identical to the 'emotional intelligence' and 'wisdom' of their own heart they will accuse all those who do not act as they do in this pretend-joy of not being as 'mature' as themselves. They will say "You're not acting as if you're a Christian. You should be happy!--Like us. Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!" No matter where you go there are such intertwined in the whole Church.

When the sin in you fights against your flesh and you are spoken through by God one moment and the sin the next and then sin accuses you of being hypocritical to its own speech as if you had free will (but God does not accuse) do not be afraid.

It seems a safety to make of the real, literal new creation a mystery in a bid to remain hidden. But God says:

Luke 11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

The new creation in Jesus Christ that is you is simple reality because Jesus Christ is reality and the Truth. He is the Way to attain Himself and the reality to attain it within. Beyond the lies of what feelings should be experienced, what shifting of weights should be 'understood' to occur on the heart there is just you and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as total and Holy Trinity. No amount of pietic emotional ritual, Churcheology or religiosity will substitute or stand in the way of your personal relationship with Him. It is a pretense that is cowardice to pretend to still be man after the new birth in Jesus Christ.

1 John 4:17,18 Herein has love been perfected with us that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, that even as He is, we also are in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has torment, and he that fears has not been made perfect in love.

Mat 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world: a city situated on the top of a mountain cannot be hid. Nor do [men] light a lamp and put it under the bushel, but upon the lamp-stand, and it shines for all who are in the house. Let your light thus shine before men, so that they may see your upright works, and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.

Watching one who is enslaved to the free will lie try to earn their way into salvation, out of guilt and with no new birth in Christ has never once caused anyone in truth to glorify God. Therefore God says to you as spirit and as life and in no pretense of being man or having 'free will' and knowing with certainty that another's new birth and salvation is not a widget of your own heart but oneness with and in Christ Jesus:

Proverbs 24:10-12 [If] thou losest courage in the day of trouble, thy strength is small. Deliver them that are taken forth unto death, and withdraw not from them that stagger to slaughter. If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, will not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that preserveth thy soul, he knoweth it; and he rendereth to man according to his work.
